Projects
The aim within Training Assessment Progression is to provide realistic work opportunities to those who would otherwise have been excluded from participating in real work experiences, due to a range of abilities that put them at a disadvantage without support.
We know that many employers will not even offer work experience placements for our group, sighting high risk on safety, cost, and profitability. At Training Assessment Progression we aim to change this and offer a range of projects that will include this group of people. We aim to improve not only the ability of the learners but also the attitude of the employers.
The projects will provide the opportunities for individual learners to develop social enterprise. This will involve working as a team, communicating with each other and the wider community, identifying their individual strengths and weaknesses leading to further individual and team skills development. The projects will incorporate independent travel training.
Our projects will open up employment opportunities in the following areas:
- Private sector
- Public sector
- Voluntary Sector
- Supported enterprise
- Community taskforce
- Supported employment
