As part of Training Assessment Progression’s ongoing strategy for improvement, an evaluation form was sent out to parents, carers, support workers etc, to fill in with the trainees that come to us to find out their views.

Without exception, all of the trainees said that they enjoyed coming to Training Assessment Progression. A majority of the trainees enjoyed the social aspect of meeting other people, and also the variety of projects available, they also said that it was not boring.

Something that was also very apparent from the evaluation, was that a majority of the trainees had increased their personal skills, albeit having more confidence, feeling more motivated, having increased independence, been given the opportunity to do something for themselves, or learnt new skills.

However, the most significant contributions came from the parents, carers, and support workers, and how they had seen individuals develop. You can read some of their testimonials below.
